Mer nanowrimo

"Committing to writing a book is kind of like getting married. You're in it for the long haul. And if you want the marriage to last, it's best to choose the one who makes you truly happy, the one who makes you a better person/writer, and the one who doesn't mind how your jaw clicks when you chew."

Framtidens bok m m
"We might not have book covers anymore, but an attractive image (akin to a book cover or movie poster, or even just an avatar) will help sell a book in the virtual bookstore. Designers can also select fonts and any other visual or auditory effects that are part of the electronic book."

Will Authors of the Future Need Publishers?
frågar sig Nathan Bransford.
"But publishers would have to be extremely author-friendly -- they would be providing a service, not relying on their traditional role as gatekeepers and distributors. They'll have to win over authors facing a choice between going with a publisher vs. handling matters on their own. Publishers won't be able to rely, as they have traditionally, on the fact that authors need them in order to reach their audience, just as authors won't be able to rely on publishers losing money on most of the books they publish."
